Friday Favorites: The Master Bathroom Edition

Beautiful city street in the Fan district of Richmond, VA: (via)

Good morning, friends!  I mentioned Tuesday that it may take a bit for my blog to switch over to WordPress, but it’s actually happened a lot faster than I antIcipated!  Please bear with me as I work out any bugs, and stay tuned for my official official announcement Monday!  The welcome image this morning is from a sweet neighborhood in the Fan of Richmond, Virginia.  DG and I are heading there for a long weekend of exploring.  Follow along on Instagram or on Snapchat (@mbg0112).

Now, for this week’s favorites, I’m switching things up.   When I got home from Charleston, DG had made an inspiration board of upgrades he wanted to make in our master bathroom.  Our master bath has been a source of annoyance for us and we hadn’t quite figured out how we could make it functional for us.  However, with DG’s board, I was able to visualize some of the upgrades he wanted to see how they could work for us, and it has been a really fun project this week.

Here are some of the inspirations we used.  I can’t wait to reveal the before & after to you in the coming weeks.

This is perfect.:

That chandelier in the bathroom is just dreamy.  In another house, a clawfoot tub is a must for me.

This Industrial Farmhouse Bathroom is the perfect blend of styles and creates such a cozy atmosphere!:

I love everything about this bathroom.  The lighting, the gray vanity with the hardware, and that mirror.  Just perfect.  And in other news, I’m now obsessed with Cherished Bliss blog.

There is just something about a farmhouse that is homey and inviting. IKEA's products were mainly used to decorate and style the farmhouse modern bathroom.:

If you follow me on Snapchat, you may have already seen a little sneak peek of a wood wall.

Quick-Step Impressive waterproof laminate flooring in bathroom:

I’ve decided that lamanent flooring is the best thing to ever happen.  Waterproof & can stand up to puppy nails?  Sign me up.

Okay, friends.  That’s it!  Those are some of my favorites from the week & from our inspiration board for the master bathroom.  Stay tuned for how this works out for us!  Hope you have a great weekend!  See you back here Monday!

Linking up with Amanda!
