Friday Favorites: The Middle of January

Porch: via

Good morning, friends & Happy Friday!  I’ve been really spoiled with short work weeks because of holidays and the ice days!  I don’t know what I’ll do next week when I have to attend for a whole week!   Here are this week’s Friday favorites!

Weekending: The Middle of January

Y’all, I am completely obsessed with spa treatments from Lorena Luca Spa.  I had the Elemis Frangipani Body Wrap  & Massage before the holidays and it was the perfect way to hydrate my winter skin & relax prior to the chaos.  I am also completely obsessed O2 Facial because of how it resurfaced my skin and has anti-aging components.  I couldn’t get over how long my skin felt so soft and even.  My next spa service will be trying out the Osmosis facial.  See my review of the entire space here.

P.S. I really wish I could just spend every weekend drinking cucumber water in their comfy robes in their beautiful relaxation room.

Flat Tummi Diet : Recipes & Exercises by [Colander Clark, LaTasha]

Y’all, this book is packed full of great recipes & quick exercises to help.  I’ve really been focusing on how I can eat food that tastes great but is also good for me, and these recipes nail that!   P.S. this is a co-worker’s wife, who is awesome!  All the heart eye emojis for #girlbosses!

This is perhaps my favorite tribute to the Obamas on President Obama’s last day in office.

Magnolia Silos Baseball Shirt

My sweet Chicago friend sent me this fun shirt from Magnolia Market for my birthday.  I’ve already worn it three times.  She also sent me this mug, and it’s my favorite to drink out of these days!

Will & Grace

Reunited and it feels so good! TV’s favorite foursome is back for 10 episodes during the 2017/18 season! #WillAndGrace

Posted by NBC on Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Y’all, on a lighter note today, this is the best news of 2017.  All the hand raise and heart eye emojis.  I can’t even.

P.S. Did you see this week’s posts?  Here’s a weekending post, quick dinner ideas for a busy week, our travel goals for 2017, and a travel guide for Kinston.

Have a great weekend!

xx

I’m so excited about the Will & Grace news! I loved the little 10 minute episode they did back in the fall but a whole 10 episodes?? Yes, please. Happy Friday!

If I won the lottery, I would treat myself to a spa day with all the works once a month. Like you said, there is nothing better than a comfy robe and being pampered. Will & Grace coming back has literally saved this week from being a complete disaster! I haven’t been able to watch any of the Obama farewell videos. I’m not ready yet. The mere thought makes me teary eyed.
