Y’all, I’m pretty sure since I started this blog, I’ve always posted that I’m going to slow down and stop taking on so much so I can focus on the things that matter. While, surprise! This hasn’t happened yet. And DG and I find ourselves with side hustles that have side hustles. To be quite honest, I don’t think we’d have it any other way. However, I’m constantly struggling with meal planning. On weeks that aren’t as busy, this isn’t a problem, but right now, we are lucky if we eat before 9:30PM and if it’s not take out or a frozen pizza. Enter 80Fresh. This service is a new favorite in our house because it checks all the boxes of being quick, healthy, and most importantly, delicious!
80Fresh is geared to active, single people, and deliver mostly to women. The service is available on the east coast and to the Midwest, as far as Chicago (hey, Lauren & Kayd)! The best part about these meals is that they designed to be prepared in 10 minutes or less because everything comes already prepared. No chopping veggies or prepping sauces because it’s already done for you. The pre-packaged ingredients are in recycleable containers, which is an important fact for me. The meals also focus on having lower calorie counts than take out, and all meals are between 350-600 calories. The nutrition information comes on the back of the cards so you know exactly what you’re eating!
I also like the options of the meals. The meal selection is geared around traditional comfort food, but in single servings with lower calorie counts. DG and I sometimes have different tastes in food, so I liked being able to get the ingredients for shrimp & grits, and him ingredients for ginger pork. We were definitely impressed with the flavor of our meals and how much food we got without over indulging on the calories. You can also customize how frequently you get your shipment and for how many people. There is also a vegetarian or carnivore option. You should definitely give it a try! Use code FIXIN30 for 30% off your first order!
Let me know if you have any questions about our meals, but I definitely want to hear your thoughts if you give 80Fresh a try!
I hope y’all are having a great week!
