Good morning & happy Monday, my friends. DG & I are starting to prepare for back to school. I am in complete denial that this in my 9th year in public education. Since I left the classroom, I sometimes find it difficult to make time for meals and better snack options. This year, my goal is to be more intentional with my back to school snacks. GOOD THiNS start with real ingredients (like wheat, potato and rice), combined with enticing flavors (like garlic, spinach and sweet potato) and baked thin and crispy without any artificial flavors, colors, cholesterol, partially hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. My personal favorite flavor is GOOD THiNS- The Beet One- Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt. This baked back to school snack has a delicious, tangy twist and is flavored with balsamic vinegar and sea salt!
DG & I used to shop the snack aisle without paying too much attention to what we were consuming. Since we have been more intentional about consuming snacks with real ingredients, our go-to snacks have been sampling other varieties of GOOD THiNS. DG’s favorite is the GOOD THiNS- The Potato One- Sweet Potato and bonus, they have 60% less fat than leading regular fried potato chips. Next up on our list to try is GOOD THiNS- The Wheat One- Ancient Grains made with ancient grains like quinoa, amaranth & millet that are baked deliciously thin & crispy.
These back to school snacks are the perfect options for when I take a minute to flip through my planner to make sure I am accomplishing tasks on my to do list and making sure that I’m not double booking myself. This is something I struggled with last year, so I am being much more intentional with managing my time as well.
