I posted early this week about a date night that DG and I had a couple of weeks ago in Cary when we got to test drive a Jaguar XJ and had dinner at one of our favorite spots. Fall is one of my favorite seasons to have a date night, so here are a fall date night ideas, especially if you live in North Carolina!
It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Fearrington Village and the Fearrington House Inn, but it is especially nice in the fall. I wandering the property with a glass of wine, having dinner at the Granary, and waking up to a lesiurely breakfast and coffee overlooking the pasture. I’ve posted several times about Fearrington Village, so check out this post and this post to get started.
P.S. Looking for things to do in Pittsboro? Check out this post with some great day trip suggestions!
Fall Day Trips
Last year, I compiled a list of fall day trips to take in the Triangle. These are still some of my favorite spots to check out, especially during the fall!
North Carolina State Fair
For the first time, the North Carolina State Fair is serving wine and beer at the Our State Public House to pay tribute to the growing beer and wine industry in the state. I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled I am about this! Yesterday was the first day and it runs until next weekend.
North Carolina FC Match
If you’ve been around these parts for a while, you know that DG and I are soccer people. We both played and coached, and we enjoy watching together. We’re thrilled that Raleigh is taking an interest in soccer, and there are home games through the month of October. Check out the schedule here. I’d definitely recommend checking out the box seats for a fun experience.
