Happy Monday, y’all! This is my last working week before 8 unpaid weeks of summer fun! My weekend went by insanely fast, which is why I’m late getting my recap up.
I kicked off Friday with a donut for National Donut Day with my new gold shoes.
Friday evening, DG and I scrapped our dinner plans at Rey’s for a low-key dinner at Aviator. We branched out of our normal appetizer and got loaded tots. It’s been a while since I posted about my love for tater tots, so the good news is my craving was definitely satisfied. I mean, bacon and tots? Come on.
We met our friends out for a quick catch-up session before heading home. I woke up early on Saturday to spend some time with some friends. We grabbed breakfast at Cafe Carolina in Cameron Village. I snagged a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and potato casserole. It was seriously delicious.
My buddy KP and I did some shopping while we were in Cameron Village. We hit up Madison and Furbish. Check out these fun gold urchins I picked up.
Saturday afternoon, I relaxed with some pool time while the boys lounged around.
Saturday night, I finished reading my book and I relaxed, which was exactly what I needed.
Sunday, I got up and took care of some things around the house before heading to meet DG for an awards ceremony. He was presented with the North Carolina state coach of the year and I am so proud of him. I’m also ecstatic he is being recognized for his hard work and dedication.

Sunday afternoon, DG and I grilled out for dinner and spent a little time together catching up. It’s been a hectic two weeks. We’re looking forward to this weekend to celebrate his achievements!

Ugh so jealous it's your last working week! I could use a little break! Even if it is an unpaid vacation I think I'd still be happy with it haha!
