9 Rooftop Bars in Raleigh NC You’ll Be Hanging Out on All Summer Long
Level 7 in the AC Hotel North Hills
My love for Level7 at the AC Hotel runs deep. It is such a lovely space in North Hills and the perfect date night or girls’ night out spot.
The Raleigh Times
Raleigh Times has the best, casual rooftop with a great view of Wilmington St. downtown. Be sure to try the devil on horseback and the shrimp po’ boy.
Gallo PelĂłn Mezcaleria
This is one of my favorite spots to meet for a girls’ night to catch up over chips with guac and queso. The rooftop is shaded and has amazing murals. Their bartenders are spectacular as well and I highly recommend asking them to make you a drink to your taste preference. You won’t be disappointed.
10th and Terrace
Located on the rooftop of the Residence Inn downtown, this location is perfect for hanging out after catching a show at the Performing Arts Center or a concert at Red Hat. Try the blackened mahi tacos!
Raleigh Beer Garden
This is such a fun spot with the various levels offered with diverse drink selections on each floor. I mentioned their patio in this post, but their rooftop is equally enjoyable with a great view of downtown Glenwood South.
Trophy Tap & Table
Trophy has my favorite starter in Raleigh–the loaded tots. David loves their IPA, Trophy Wife, so we love to have a afternoon date on their rooftop patio.
Taverna Agora
The rooftop at Taverna Agora is so gorgeous and spacious, plus is shady and cool, even when it is scorching hot outside. Meet your friends and grab a Greek Tasting Platter.
Hibernian Irish Pub and Restaurant
Hibernian holds a special place in my heart because it’s one of the first places David and I went together when we first started dating. I love meeting here for brunch. Their Bloody Mary specials on Sundays are worth it, especially if you are entertaining out of town guests.
The Dillon
Located in the Warehouse District, the Dillon has an amazing view of downtown Raleigh and is temporarily open to the public during the week until 7:00PM. It’s BYOB, so bring a bottle of wine and make it a date!
