Today, I’m back to share the best Instagram accounts to follow. Some are for style, some are for staying informed, and some are just generally fun accounts to follow along with on Instagram. I’ve been on a journey this year to eliminate people who don’t make me feel well about myself, so these are my tried and true best Instagram accounts to follow that genuinely leave me feeling good.

Allie Provost – @allieprovost
I met Allie a few years ago at The Blog Societies Conference in Charleston and I’ve been following along with her blog ever since. Her style is amazing and I love following along on her travels and her style adventures. She is also an amazing photographer and I hope to work with her on our trip to NYC soon.
Baxter Miller – @baxmiller
Baxter & I connected and met for coffee to brainstorm ideas for my rebrand several years ago. Her eye for photography, her eloquence in writing, and her love of eastern North Carolina are some of my favorite aspects of following along with her on Instagram. Â You can often find her work in Our State magazine, one of my favorite subscriptions to receive each month.
The Card Bureau – @thecardbureau
I started following The Card Bureau a while back, and I am obsessed with their cards. They also have this amazing RBG gift box that would be a perfect gift for your favorite RBG fan. I’m also loving these candles, especially the “Burn the patriarchy” one.
Female Collective – @femalecollective
This is one of my absolute favorite accounts to follow and the daily reminders are exactly what I need sometimes. This one was especially important a few weeks ago when I was not doing a good job with my boundaries.
Nicole – @_grits
Nicole was one of the first blogs I ever followed, and I still use some of her recipes. Her style, her light and airy feed, her interior design, floral arrangements, and her chickens are such goals. She also makes the most impressive charcuterie trays.
Kimothy Joy – @kimothy.joy
Kimothy has such beautiful and inspiring artwork full of self-love and feminine power. Her book is one of my favorites to gift to friends.
Morgan Harper Nichols – @morganharpernichols
This is one of my favorite empowering accounts. When I’m having a bad day, I scroll through her quotes as nice reminders. Her artwork is equally beautiful as well!
Kendall Kremer – @styledsnapshots
Kendall has the best style and is one of my favorite fashion bloggers on the gram. Her style isn’t too over the top like some, she is super authentic, and has the cutest babe and doggie. Plus, she regularly maintains her blog and shares amazing travel and style tips, plus delicious but healthy recipes.
The Sweet Feminist – @thesweetfeminist
I recently stumbled upon this account and I love her work. Her captions give great background, information, and points to consider. Her information is also incredibly timely and relevant and I look forward to her posts on days that there is a lot happening in the news.
Things I Bought and Liked – @things.I.bought.and.liked
One of my guilty pleasures is watching Southern Charm on Bravo, and I found this account through Cameran. She doesn’t often post in her feed, but her Instastories are full of really great purchases and witty commentary.
Vivian Howard – @chefandthef
I’ve long been a big fan of Vivian Howard and the work she’s doing in eastern North Carolina, especially in Kinston. I loved her show, A Chef’s Life, and I love following her weekly insta stories. She does a “Just the Tips” Tuesday with various how-tos and “Dear Vivian” on Thursday where she reads letters from fans. I love how relatable she is and just her general personality. She’s amazing!
Sarah James – @whoorl
One of my best friends introduced me to this account on my quest to find clean beauty products. I’ve been following along ever since, but I adore her style, her mission, and her voice.
A few other of my favorite Instagram accounts are some of my personal friends, as well. Khameo is the best at nail art, lending an ear, and offering support. Katy does the best “how to” videos for dirty hair, uplifting posts, and beautiful hair inspiration. Amy shares the best recipes, polls, and feminist inspiration.
