There is nothing that cures the winter blues better than a hearty soup recipe, and bonus points if it is easy to prepare and cook. Winter has been growing on me over the past few years, and this is one of the major reasons. I’ve prided myself in having a good immune system for years, but in the event that I start to come down with a little something, I always make this creamy chicken noodle soup. It is easy to make, filling, and soothing, and I especially appreciate that I can just add everything to my crockpot and relax. P.S. these crockpot liners make clean up a breeze!
Hands down, my favorite soup to make right now is this tortellini soup. I love to experiment with different types of tortellini (spinach filled, 5 types of cheese, chicken, you name it, I’ll try it) for new flavors. It’s quick, easy, and seriously delicious.
This loaded baked potato soup is super filling, full of flavor, and the additional of truffle oil is one of my personal favorite touches! It makes quite a large batch, too, so it gives you a lot of leftovers. This dutch oven is absolutely necessary for making soups.
David isn’t a huge seafood fan, so I make this if I’m on my own for dinner during a busy week. I have long been a fan of seafood bisque so I am thrilled to have a recipe that makes it easier to attain at home.
