In the heat of summer and the coronavirus, it’s hard to know how to dress for the weekends anymore. On the rare occasion that I do go out, I am finding that I am overdressing and enjoying shopping my closet for favorite pieces to pair in new ways. With all that said, for whatever summer weekend plans you may have, whether it’s a socially distant picnic, a happy hour at home, a day trip to a North Carolina beach, a trip to a North Carolina destination, or a visit to a western North Carolina winery, here are three effortless summer outfit ideas!

3 Easy Summer Outfit Ideas for the Weekend
Printed Tank, White Skinnies, and Espadrilles
I have a few of these tanks from J. Crew Factory in solid colors that I typically wear for work under jackets and sweaters. Right before the coronavirus hit, I picked up this snakeskin print to pair with white skinnies and have really enjoyed this outfit. Also, these shoes are super comfortable for the season! I’m also obsessed with this Vote mask!

Breezy Linen Sundress and Wedges
I’ve been really good about not buying new clothing items during this time, but I couldn’t resist this dress from an Instagram ad I saw earlier in the summer. I paired it with my favorite pair of wedges, my Lack of Color hat (seen here), and my Michelle McDowell earrings I picked up for the Bahamas.
Lightweight Jumpsuit and Sandals
It’s no secret that I love a good jumpsuit no matter the time of year. This jumpsuit in particular is a favorite of mine because of the material, the pockets, and the cut on the ankles. While I paired with my Amazon sandals I picked up several months ago, it would also work with the espadrilles from the first outfit in this post.
