It’s hard to believe that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost winding down to a close. In recent years, I’ve sat the Nordstrom Sale out for a variety of reasons, including this year. However, when checking out some of the sale items, some of my favorite fall and winter fashion staples are available for great prices during the Nordstrom Sale. I typically opt for traditional pieces that will transition throughout the years without being too trendy. Did you shop the NSale this year? If so, what were your favorite purchases? If not, what’s your favorite local business to support? Keep scrolling for my favorite fall fashion pieces.

B.B. Dakota Faux Leather Jacket
I picked this jacket up before my trip to Chicago last spring and it’s been one of my favorite, versatile pieces in my closet. I brought this with me to New Orleans back in January to wear over the Free People body suit mentioned later in this post and thought it transitioned well from all the places we were checking out on our trip.
Outfit Details: J. Crew Jeans | Rothy’s Points (You get $20 off and I get $20 to use, too!) | Sequin Skirt
Chelsea28 Cowl Neck Sweater
This sweater was one of my very favorite pieces to style during the fall and winter. I paired it with leggings, jeans, booties, and here with this sequin skirt and patent booties. It’s so soft and a great length, even for long torsos like mine.
Outfit Details: Sequin Skirt | Patent Booties (similar & on sale) | Hunter Blake Earrings
Free People Afterglow Mock Tunic
I have this in a light purple and this burnt orange and really love the length. I wore it during the spring paired with white jeans and then with black jeans and leggings in the fall and winter.
Outfit Details: J. Crew Black Skinnies | Cuyana Tote | RayBan Polarized Aviators
Free People Arden Extra Long Cotton Top
I ordered one of these tees at the beginning of quarantine and loved it so much, I picked it up in two more colors. I love the length and how it works with jeans, leggings, and even with shorts.

Free People Sunshine My Only Sunshine Sweater
So, I actually don’t have a picture of this sweater styled–I wore it under my puffer jacket in NYC last winter, but this style is pretty similar to it. It’s a little bit of wider knit, so I wear a camisole under it. One of my favorite winter outfits is to wear black faux leather leggings with a black sweater and black booties.
Free People Turnt Body Suit
This is the jumpsuit I paired with my faux leather jacket in the first item. The fabric is really great for fall, warmer winter days, and spring. This emerald color is lovely and I also like the black one, too!
Outfit Details: Shashi Gold Earrings
Leith Off the Shoulder Sweater
I’ve had this off-the-shoulder sweater from the Nordstrom Sale from years ago. It’s been one of my items that I just keep wearing and I feel like the cut hasn’t gone out of style. There is an updated, really affordable option listed above. Here is another version as well that’s Free People (which is the brand of mine) and also on sale.
Outfit Details: Tory Burch Crossbody Bag
Spanx Ponte Ankle Leggings & Adidas Swift Run Sneakers
I *lived* in these leggings and sneakers when David and I went to NYC last winter. While traveling like we did isn’t really an option for the foreseeable future, these are still great pieces for your working from home uniform.
Vince Camuto Snakeskin Booties
These booties were my go-to shoe choice most of the fall and winter and I just recently brought them out for a trip to Blowing Rock. They’re so comfortable and really go with everything! I highly recommend picking up a pair while they’re on sale! You won’t regret it! P.S. Here is a similar option, too.
