Happy International Women’s Day! This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge and I’m excited to celebrate and honor those who have come before me to pave the way to a more inclusive world. I hope you’ll take some time today to reflect on those achievements and continue to raise awareness about gender equality. In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, I am sharing some of my favorite women owned businesses.

I am a huge fan of the Don’t Despair, Repair deep conditioning mask and I am really interested in trying the Farewell Frizz products as we get closer to the humidity setting in here in North Carolina.
Gloria Faye Design

I mentioned Gloria Faye Design in my round up of favorite earrings and I’m in awe of her process to create such unique beauties. Her Instagram provides a fun look behind the scenes at her creative process. Those of you local to Charlotte, be sure to check out her work at the Charlotte Collective or at spring pop-ups!
Hotel Lobby Candle
I have been grateful for the opportunities David and I have had to safely travel during the quarantine, but I am still mourning a few cancelled trips we had in 2020. Hotel Lobby Candles by Lindsay Silberman has fragrances that are really helping fill that void for me in turning our home into our favorite hotel lobby.
Hunter Blake Designs

Y’all know I’m a huge fan of Hunter Blake Designs–I have several pairs at this point in my collection. I love that they are stylish while still being timeless. My favorite pair is definitely this gold & pearl pair from a couple of summers ago. They have so many great options each season. Be sure to follow along with them on Instagram for sneaks into their next collection!
Jam + Rico

My friend Kayd introduced me to Jam + Rico and these earrings have been a staple for me since my parents gifted them to me for Christmas. I am obsessed with them and her whole line with summer quickly approaching! Though, I do support palm earrings year-round!
McBride Sisters Collection

Since 2005, The McBride Sisters’ mission has become clear—to transform the industry, lead by example, and cultivate community, one delicious glass of wine, at a time. Their Black Girl Magic Rosé is one of my favorites to date. There is a sparking brut that’s next on my list to try!
PHENOMENAL

PHENOMENAL is a female-powered lifestyle brand that brings awareness to culture, causes, issues, and experiences of underrepresented communities. They have supported and created content for dozens of organizations. Not only are their products inspirational and fun, their social media presence is a whole mood.
Sophie + Lili

I love all of the artwork that Jennifer creates, and especially her Nasty Women collection! Also, I highly recommend following her on Instagram. She shares her artwork in addiction to her daily life (she has incredible interior style) and her takes on current events. She’s definitely a favorite follow of mine!
Twine & Twig

These Charlotte based beauties have a flair for style while incorporating natural pieces with a coastal Carolina nod. I love all of their collections, and am really into their Palm collection while daydreaming of warm, sunny days surrounding by blue waters.

Megan and Margaret have long inspired me to be a plant lady and I love their shop so, so much! My favorite indoor plants all come from their shop, and they have one in Durham and one in Raleigh. My biggest loves are my fiddle leaf figs and I learned how to take care of them thanks to Megan’s patience and tutelage.
Happy International Women’s Day! Thanks for being here and supporting this woman owned business as well! Be sure to tell me in the comments how you’re celebrating today!
