My recent favorites feature a lot of products that have received a lot of hype on social media and from influencers. These are twelve purchases that are worth all the attention and praise that they receive. No wonder they’re cult favorites. Keep scrolling to see my recent favorites in no particular order.
Recent Favorites: Top 10 Things I’ve Bought that Are Worth the Hype
Chappywrap Blankets
It’s no secret that I am a big fan of throw blankets, and this one from Chappywrap is now my go-to for snuggling on the couch. Chappywrap features some of the most fun prints, are machine washable, and functional while feeling luxurious. These blankets are thick and border on heavy, while also being soft and cozy. I cannot rave about this blanket enough. I have the Oyster Cove Diamonds Grey blanket and love it for our living room.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream Face Moisturizer
Ever since I turned 30, I have been working on finding a skin care routine that works best for me. This year, I added Dr. Bader’s moisturizer after seeing Grace rave about it for a while. I have mostly dry skin, so I opted for the rich cream formula to work with keeping my skin hydrated. I have been over the moon with how well this has worked for my skin, especially in helping with the rosacea I developed a couple of years ago. It has also smoothed out my complexion and helped minimize some of my fine lines. It’s absolutely worth the hype and a little bit goes a long way.
Loeffler Randall Pleated Knot Sandal
While I’m not really into heels that much anymore, I have long swooned over the Loeffler Randall Emelia Pleated Knot Sandal. The heel height seemed right up my alley and my closet includes a lot of clothing items that pair nicely with gold. These shoes are absolutely wonderful and I have enjoyed wearing them with a variety of items in my closet including my nap dress (see next item). They do run small, so I’d recommend sizing a half size up if you’re in between sizes. I also love the leopard version of this shoe, too!
Hill House Nap Dress
I joined nap dress nation with this beautiful gold Jacquard version and I *live* in it, y’all. It’s worth all the hype. I was a bit worried the jacquard wouldn’t be comfortable, so I was pleasantly surprised to be so wrong. There are some beautiful patterns in the original style, plus there are some variations now as well. I recommend sizing down as they run a tad big.
T3 Cura Luxe Professional Ionic Hair Dryer
After 10 years, my hair dryer finally bit the dust, so I decided to upgrade my hair styling tools with a hair dryer that would help protect my hair better. I’ve been working on using less heat on my hair and embracing my hair’s natural texture, and this hair dryer has been incredibly helpful in that process. While it is pricey, it’s been worth the splurge.
T3 Lucea ID 1-inch Smart Straightening and Styling Flat Iron
I picked this flat iron up after watching Katy style my hair with a flat iron. I’ve found it helpful with individual styling when there is just a piece or two not cooperating when wearing my hair natural. I appreciate that it doesn’t get too hot like my former flat iron since it personalizes the experience based on your individual hair. It also has a restyle option that is at an ever lower heat setting.
Lake Pajamas Shorts Set
I am a big fan of cozy pajama sets and I decided to try out Lake pajamas after reading reviews and seeing them around for a while. The pima cotton is so soft and cool for warm nights. They are 100% cotton so if you’re in between sizes, order a size up since the pajamas will likely shrink on first wash. I opted for the shorts set in seaside with the scoop neck tee. However, I also think these are really cute, too!
Shibumi Shade

I shared about our shibumi shade last year and we have been so pleased with it again this year. It’s an easy-to-use shade that provides UPF 30 protection and is able to hold up in higher winds. It is lightweight and does not take up a lot of space when packing for a beach trip.
Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator
One of my favorite finds during quarantine was Nécessaire and my hands down favorite is the body exfoliator. This is an exfoliator that is good for weekly use and softens skin without irritation. I have super sensitive skin so I am picky about the skin care I use, and this one has been wonderful. I use the unscented version of the exfoliator, and I also use the eucalyptus body wash and the unscented hand cream.
Clarins V-Facial Intensive Wrap
After seeing this face mask featured on several of my favorite follows, I decided to give it a try. It visibly reduces puffiness and swelling caused by heat, hormonal changes, or sleep, and refines your complexion. I keep mine in the fridge for extra cooling and I love the rose gold jar. It’s a great way to start the morning off, especially in the summer.
