Is there a better drink to get in the holiday spirit than champagne? Not in my book! Champagne is a sparkling wine made in the Champagne region of France and must meet strict guidelines to be considered Champagne. While it is my favorite alcoholic beverage, it is seems to taste even better during the holiday season. These champagne cocktails are perfect for holiday parties, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve. Today, I am sharing a roundup of Christmas champagne cocktails that can add sparkle and elegance to your holiday celebrations.
Note: While champagne is *always* a good idea, when mixing in a cocktail like these below, I tend to go for something like a Prosecco or Cava so I am not wasting good champagne. Check out this post for some of my favorite sparkling wines under $40.

This festive cocktail is beautifully displayed at a party as well with the colors! Put it in a gorgeous glass tied with a ribbon for a little extra oomph!

- Garnishes: ice, lime wedges, fresh cranberries, pomegranate arils, mint

Classic Mimosa

This is the perfect brunch cocktail, no matter the season. I tend to prefer my mimosa with minimal juice, and may even cut some of the sweetness of the orange juice with soda water.
Ingredients
- Sparkling Wine, Cava, or Prosecco
- Orange Juice (without pulp!)
Instructions
Step One
Pour your preferred ratio of orange to sparkling wine into a wine glass. Serve without ice to prevent it from watering down. Enjoy!
