One thing that is incredibly important to my ongoing mental and physical health is a consistent workout. A couple of years ago, David and I bought a Peloton Bike+ and I have thoroughly enjoyed the ease of access to having a workout option at home. I re-joined Pure Barre in the area, my all-time favorite group fitness workout. I will also drop into a yoga or pilates class as well. That said, I was struggling with workout outfits for a bit. Many of mine had been in rotation for a while and I needed an upgrade. While I have workout outfits that vary in price ranges, I also go through workout clothes rather quickly thanks to how much I swear during Peloton boot camps or a hot yoga class. Enter Fabletics. A friend recommended trying it out; she had the best workout collection for her morning workouts while we were in Savannah at the Alida. I firmly believe in having cute workout outfits boosting confidence and the energy I bring to a workout. I have found Fabletics to be a convenient way to shop for new workout clothes each month with their subscription program. Keep reading to see my honest review of Fabletics monthly subscription.
Honest Review of Fabletics Subscription

Back in 2014, I started doing Pure Barre for the first time and joined Fabletics to have cute barre outfits to wear for classes. I was a member for a while, though I became pretty disappointed in the quality and styles being offered so I dropped my membership. After seeing how cute their styles were in 2024 and the additional options available, including swimwear and accessories, I decided to give it another shot. Below I’ll share more details about what Fabletics is, how it works, some of my favorite items, pricing, and sizing.
What Is Fabletics
Fabletics has been around since 2014 and was founded by Don Ressler, Ginger Ressler, and Adam Goldenberg. They fused fashion with athletic wear and have grown the company to include 95+ brick-and-mortar stores with celebrity collaborations. I distinctly remember they joined up with Kate Hudson for their first celebrity collaboration. Their lines are high-quality at accessible pricing and include bold colors and styles across all sizes.
How Does Fabletics Work
While you do not have to be a VIP member to shop at Fabletics, joining the VIP membership does, in theory, save you money in the long run. Joining the VIP membership program costs $59.99 a month and gets you a member credit each month to use on items to get the best possible price. Memberships are processed on the 6th day of the month, so you have between the 1st and the 5th to skip in the app. I set a recurring reminder on my phone for the 3rd of every month to remember to skip the month.
Other perks are that the VIP credits are good for 12 months, so you can save them and use them for a big order. Other benefits include first dibs on exclusive drops, 20-50% off retail, free shipping on all orders $49.95, and their loyalty program which features cash off, rewards, and exclusive products.
Cancel your VIP membership by contacting customer service by calling their 24/7 number or using the live chat or through the online account portal.
Best Fabletics Items
Principal Low Impact Sports Bra
[one-half-first]
[one-half]
[/one-half]I own this sports bra in a couple of colors to wear during barre, pilates, yoga, and lounging around the house. The straps are a tad long, which works for my body type, though worth noting if you have a shorter torso. The fabric and make are good making it easy to get off and on, even when sweaty. I also enjoy wearing this with off-the-shoulder shirts for a more casual look.
On-The-Go PowerHold High-Waisted Leggings

These are my go-to Fabletics leggings for low-impact workouts and wearing around the house. They are chafe-resistant, moisture-wicking, UPF protection, pockets including an exterior pocket (perfect for when I’m out walking the dogs), and fabric that holds you in place without being too tight or restrictive. The fabric is also thick so no worries without them becoming see-through.
Dry-Flex Open-Back Tank
[one-half-first]
[one-half]
[/one-half]I picked up this in my most recent order in black and have really enjoyed wearing it. It pairs nicely with this sports bra. I like that despite the flowy nature of the top, it stays in place and doesn’t bunch or twist up when doing barre or pilates.
Cloud Jersey Cropped Hoodie

Oasis PureLuxe HW Crossover 7/8 Leggings

My first pair of Fabletics leggings during my return to the membership was this pair and they are so incredibly comfortable. The fabric is hand-brushed and feels buttery soft while keeping you supported.
How Much Does Fabletics Membership Cost
VIP Membership
The VIP membership is $59.95 a month and is billed on the 6th day of the month. That means you have between the 1st and the 5th of the month to skip your membership. Remembering to skip is one of those that can sneak up on you. Fabletics does send email reminders, though I have found setting a monthly reminder in my GCal to be the easiest way to keep track of it.
The VIP membership includes discount prices on pieces, anywhere from 20-50% off full price, free shipping over $49.95, and exclusive access to new drops.
Loyalty Program
You do not have to be a VIP member to join the loyalty program. Every time you shop, you earn points for every dollar you spend online or in-store. If you have a VIP membership, you reach platinum after 3 months of being a VIP. Accumulate points to redeem! For every 2000 points, you earn a $50 gift card to be spent within 60 days.
Is Fabletics Worth It
For me, re-vamping my activewear through Fabletics has been worth it. While sometimes the fits can be a tad awkward for me, it has proven to be worth it each month for my workout and athleisure collection. Even having the VIP membership is helpful for not paying full price on multiple pieces, like the hoodie I shared above. I also make the membership work for me. If I don’t want to get any activewear that month, I skip within the window and it is so simple and easy. I haven’t thought of canceling my membership yet.
