I keep looking for the silver lining of quarantine from COVID-19, and one of the biggest takeaways is my thriving skin care routine. Who knew that time at home without a lot of make up and toxins would be good for my skin? Recently, I added a few new products to my current nighttime skin care line up and I’ve already been pleased with the results.
3 Beauty Products Added to My Nighttime Skincare Routine
Glossier Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum
I was in the market for a new nighttime serum for my skincare routine, and wowowow is this serum a new favorite of mine. There is 2% Hyaluronic Acid and then Vitamin B5 that helps provide super hydration to your skin. While the reviews I read had positive reviews for morning use, I really like this hydrating serum for night time under my moisturizing masks. I layer this first before occasionally adding this long-time favorite product before finishing with a heavy-hitting moisturizer.
Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
This mask is packed full of my favorite nighttime products to give full hydration. It has sweet almond oil, plant-based squalane oil, and hyaluronic acid to boost your skin’s hydration and help smooth the appearance of fine lines. Licorice root and lemon fruit extract visibly brighten and even out your complexion while honey and aloe help soothe skin. My skin has been softer, brighter, and glowier in the morning. I love that the formula is hydrating and full of good products without being too heavy.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
I recently shared this mask in my product empties post and I am completely obsessed with this hydrating mask. Depending on how my skin is feeling, sometimes I add this overtop of the moon mask because it is the ultimate, hydration packed line up. Other times, I alternate between the two depending on if I’ve been wearing my mask more (I opt for the Moon Mask then) or haven’t had enough water to drink throughout the day (Jet Lag Mask).
