9 Instagrammable Spots in North Carolina
Sunset Terrace at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC

While there is so much to do in Asheville, NC, the one place that I will always recommend is grabbing a drink and enjoying the sunset terrace at the Grove Park Inn. The Grove Park is stunning and it’s worth it to take in a sunset with the mountains in the background and a good cocktail before continuing on to evening plans in this unique city.
Grandfather Vineyard in Banner Elk, NC

Grandfather Vineyard is one of the prettiest vineyards I’ve been to because it has it all! Mountain views, a creek, and a vineyard doggo! Plus, it has crisp wine options, delicious food, and live music on Thursdays-Saturdays. There are tons of photo options with their space while spending a day along the Watauga. P.S. Check out Valle Crucis while you’re nearby! We absolutely adore it, especially for a weekend getaway at the Mast Farm Inn!Â
Nina Simone Mural in Tryon, NC
For all the small town charm, head to Tryon, NC for a weekend. While you’re there, be sure to stop and check out the amazing Nina Simone mural. Plus, head out to Mountain Brook Vineyards and Pearson Falls & Glen for other beautiful photo opportunities and places to spend an afternoon while in town!
Rosie’s Coffee & Wine Garden in Charlotte, NC

Rosie’s Coffee & Wine Garden is such a gem in the Queen City and it’s truly a dreamy spot to spend an afternoon. Rosie’s is located at the McGill Rose Garden and features a great wine by the glass menu plus an excellent selection of coffees and teas. They offer a small assortment of snacks or you can bring your own! There is a wide variety of seating options, so cozy up, spend the afternoon catching up with friends, and use the backdrops for photo ops! Looking for other patios in Charlotte? Pinehurst Village in Pinehurst

David and I recently took a day trip to Pinehurst and it was absolutely lovely time. We’ve done weekend getaways to Pinehurst and Southern Pines as well. It’s such a charming spot about 1.5 hours from the Triangle with lush greenery and quaint shops.
The Patio at the Unscripted in Durham, NC

The Unscripted Hotel in Durham offers so many great events for a good time with beautiful photo ops to boot! Their patio is a great spot to catch a beautiful sunset over the Bull City. As the holidays ramp up, they offer igloos on the patio and Fridays and Saturdays, there is live music in the studio.
The Boardwalk in Carolina Beach, NC
Visiting the NC coast is a favorite regardless of the seasons, and the Carolina Beach boardwalk is a must-visit while you are in town. During the off-season, some of the more popular spots may be closed; however, it makes a great spot to walk around and check out the murals close by as well.
Tryon Palace Gardens in New Bern, NC
New Bern was the first capital of North Carolina and the rebuilt Tryon Palace pays homage to that history. The gardens are absolutely stunning and offer beautiful views of the waterfront as well.
The Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort, NC

Beaufort is such a special place and the Beaufort Hotel offers quite a wonderful experience. Located right on Taylor’s Creek, the docks and double porches are perfect spots to enjoy an afternoon cocktail while taking in the scenes. The interior is just as beautiful with the bright light and fireplaces. There are plenty of backdrops for stunning Instagram pictures to bring to your feed.
