I am all about simplicity when it comes to my beauty routine. Wanna know why? It’s usually because I’m running late and don’t have time for make-up. I find this is even more true in the summer where the heat & humidity laughs at my attempts of looking put together, so I just own the low-maintenance look.
So, I follow up with my skincare routine with a quick make-up routine and head out the door in these crazy months.
My starting product is Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. It smooths my face out so well, and minimizes my pores so well, and doesn’t make my face feel heavy or greasy in the humidity.

I don’t usually wear full foundation in the summer because I hate how clogged it makes my face feel. Plus, I’m not sure I go anywhere that requires a full face of make up. Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 gives just enough coverage and makes my skin feel great! Disclaimer: I wear this pretty much year round. It’s my go-to product that I’ve used for years.
I ordered the Rifle Paper Co. Birchbox back in the spring and got a sample of Benefit dew the hoola Liquid Bronzer and LOVED it and now have it in a full size. It gives just the right amount of color and blends so well.

It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara does exactly what it says it will do! It stretches my lashes and gives them added volume. And bonus, if I reapply after work for a night out, my lashes don’t look clumpy. I received this product from The Blog Societies Conference and am totally obsessed.

I finish with a coat of my favorite Rose Salve & a swipe of this lipstick, which I haven’t stopped wearing since I purchased last month. The color stays put and is such a versatile color. I’ve worn it for work, running errands, brunch, and even date night.

So, there you have it. There’s my quick make-up solution for the humidity and heat of summer in the South. What are the make-up products you use in the summer?
Hope you have a great day! We’re halfway through the week!
xx

I love these posts! Can’t wait to try some of these products!
I use Bobbi brown everything! Except face lotion because Oil of Olay works perfectly for me and soo much cheaper!
I might try that moisturizer. I still get occasional bouts of acne at age 28, so I don’t like to cover my face in concealer and powder every day. I am looking for a tinted alternative to wear on some days.
