With the holiday season upon us, I wanted to share some of the best places in Raleigh and surrounding areas for last minute gifts. I feel like I never got my feet under me this holiday season, so I’ve frequented some of these places to finish up my holiday shopping. These are also great places to shop for gifts no matter the season, and especially right now!
Holiday Shopping in Raleigh NC: the Best Shops for Last Minute Gifts
Chet Miller
Chet Miller is one of my very favorite eclectic shops in downtown Durham. They have local products, include a cookbook by NC famed Saltbox Seafood Joint founder Ricky Moore. They also have cheeky desk accessories, Rifle Paper Co. products, and delicious candles.

DECO Raleigh

DECO is a downtown Raleigh institution and carries the work of over 75 local artisans and makers in the shop. There are tons of items in the shop that cause giggles and they’ve created gift guides for all the people on your list. It’s the perfect spot in downtown Raleigh to shop, plus be sure to check out the sidewalk mural right outside the shop.

Edge of Urge

I’ve been a big fan of Edge of Urge and its connection to small creators and makers from across the state and around the country. The shop is welcoming, funky, and has such amazing products that celebrate diversity and inclusion! It’s got tons of excellent options for gifts for all the fun-loving people in your life!

If you’re in the Cameron Village area, be sure to stop by The Local Squirrel. I adore the artwork by local artists and carefully curated gift selections to reflect local interests in a beautiful, bright space. I always find a new artist or product that. Love for myself just as much as I do for gift giving!

If you’re looking for a specific gift for the fashionista in your life, Madison is a great option. I love their trendy clothes and accessories at affordable prices. They have sparkly pieces for the holiday parties, but they also have great pieces for winter in general.

Stylish Living is a lovely shop in downtown Apex featuring a great collection of unique gifts for all the folks in your life. It’s my go-to spot for gifts for babies and toddlers, but also for one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and hostess gifts. They also have amazing home gifts, great options for men, and a wide variety of gifts to pamper as well.

This locally owned boutique and coffee shop is a great spot to grab some last minute gifts while cozying up with a warm drink. I love their signature lattes and the lavender lemonade on warmer winter days. I very much love their Poppy popcorn selection, ornaments, and candle options.

I very much adore Vita Vite and both the downtown and North Hills locations are perfect for finding gifts. There are small items for sale around the shop, bottles of wine, and original artwork. Enjoy a glass of wine while picking up last minute gifts in a well-decorated environment.

The Zen Succulent

The Zen Succulent is such a wonderful place to pick up a gift. I love giving succulents in modern pots or a small house plant for hostess gifts. Megan has curated such a lovely shop full of beautiful plants, pottery, and other gifts making this a perfect stop for a quirky gift.
