When I found out that bartaco was coming to North Hills, I was over the moon with excitement. The first time I tried bartaco was last winter to try their secret taco, and I was hooked after that. North Hills is a great spot to meet friends, and I love the uniqueness of the patio at bartaco. Â Angela, Glory, and I met here dinner and had the best time sampling the menu!
It was a busy night at the restaurant, so we took our time ordering. Â We started with guacamole and salsa for appetizers.
When we were ready to order, we asked what the secret taco was, which this month it’s an fried oyster taco! Â I also ordered a falafel taco, pork belly taco, and a fried shrimp taco. Â Glory ordered a falafel taco, pork belly taco, tuna tattoo, and roasted duck. Â Angela had a falafel taco, fried shrimp taco, cauliflower taco, and baja fish taco.
For dessert, we had the churros, which are served with warm chocolate dipping sauce, and they were so delicious!

bartaco has something for everyone in a relaxed environment. Â I love all the gorgeous greenery, the beach theme, and laidback vibes of the staff. Â The servers are attentive and the management engages in casual conversation with patrons. Â We also appreciated the recommendations that the staff offered.
While I have really enjoyed summer, I am starting to get in the mood for fall clothing. Â This shirt is one that I am looking forward to carrying with me into the cooler months paired with red pants or dark denim.
