The Raleigh Restaurant Hummingbird is such a unique establishment on Whitaker Mill Rd. in Raleigh and I couldn’t be more smitten with it. I met Glory here to try their charbroiled oysters for my oyster crawl post, and boy am I glad we checked this place out. The cocktail list is extensive (and pretty!), the menu, that starts with breakfast, looks delicious, and if it’s anything like the charbroiled oysters and shrimp dip Glory and I had, it will be amazing. The space is quaint, eclectic, and the close quarters in the bar make for a great way to meet new folks.
I was quite pleased with the gorgeous interior decor, and how cute is the outdoor seating area as well? I love the bright colors, quirky menu, and will definitely be meeting more friends here for drinks and snacks. The charbroiled oysters were seriously divine and the shrimp dip with homemade chips were the perfect afternoon snack. I want to try the po’ boy at lunch and the charred cauliflower and rubbed chicken wings for dinner. But I’ll be honest and tell you that their snack menu is just as delightful and filling!
