Happy Friday, y’all! We’re welcoming in another month today and I’m hopeful that we’ll get some reprieve from all the rain and chill we’ve been experiencing recently. Also, if you’re not following along with me on Instagram, you should start! I’m hosting monthly giveaways on my Instagram featuring my favorite products. I’ll be announcing my next giveaway on Instagram tonight, so be sure to follow along! Here is my February 2019 Instagram Roundup.
David and I recently went on a date night to Virgil’s Original Taqueria and I shared all about it in this post.
We still celebrate our dating anniversary, so this year, we celebrated with a staycation at the beautiful Carolina Inn. It was an absolute dream and I cannot recommend a staycation here enough.
This look is one of my favorites from Galentine’s a couple of years ago. While it sold out, here is a similar one.
It’s been a gloomy month, but I love when the natural light comes through our dining room.

This year’s Galentine’s Day was celebrated at Raleigh Rolls with my friends from Tabletop Media. I wore this J. Jill jumpsuit (c/o) and my favorite pair of mules (old, similar here).
This wrap sweater is one of my favorites for transitioning to spring. I paired it with my favorite leopard belt, dark skinnies, and tote.
I’ve been binge watching The Man in the High Castle and this is my go-to snack situation.
This sweater pairs nicely with my Spanx Moto leggings and over the knee boots, but also with Ponte pants and flats for work. These earrings are also a favorite pair of mine.
We were so lucky that it was warm and sunny when we went to the Carolina Inn. We were able to enjoy time together on the porch and spending time in the sun.
One Friday afternoon, I discovered this #daretodissent mural in downtown Raleigh and was overly exited since I was wearing the RBG shirt my friend Lauren got me for my birthday.
I loved seeing so many people’s posts about love on Valentine’s Day, so I decided to share my favorite picture of David and me. It’s from when we first started dating at a friend’s wedding and it’s always been our favorite picture together.
Cheers to Friday! If you’re looking for a place for a girls’ night, check out this itinerary for the ultimate girls’ night in North Hills.
I’m obsessed with this manicure from my girl Kham at Paintbase on Glenwood South. Also, you should check out the newest food hall in Raleigh, Transfer Co. Food Hall.
When you go to Transfer Co. Food Hall, be sure to try a chocolate peanut butter cup milkshake from Captain Cookie & the Milk Man.

This lunch is still one of the best meals I’ve ever had thanks to End Posts Restaurant. Check out this amazing weekend trip to the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail.
I love Kimothy Joy for her artwork and her message. This quote has always been my favorite and I love it in this print.
Another perk to staying at the Carolina Inn is strolling the property. Here are our outfit details:

One of my favorite snacks is Oikos yogurt. The dessert flavors are a nice, sweet touch without being overly sweet. See more here.
I’ve been craving warm weather so I found this photo from our New York City trip optimistic.

The morning struggle is real, y’all.
This monogrammed tunic from Marleylilly is a favorite for weekend wear. See more here.
I’m working on a NC Bucket List and an updated Raleigh guide, and this pork belly soup will be on the lists. I met my friend, Amy, for our birthday lunch (we’re birthday twins) and I’ve been craving it weekly since then. Those two posts are coming soon, so stay tuned!
