It’s my favorite time of the year and that means it’s time for gift guides! Today is dedicated to the best gifts for her. This year, I sectioned my gift guide by type but it’d fun to mix and match, too. And be sure to tell me your favorite gifts to give this year!
For the Fixer Upper
Y’all know that if Joanna does it, Meghan does it. The book and/or the journal are great gifts for your friends who are fans. Joanna’s effortless style is always my favorite, and she rocks a chambray shirt. And boxwood and cotton stems are perfect for decorating fixer upper style.
For the Glam
I have always been a fan of Bobbi Brown, so this gift set is a no-brainer! But I recently converted to IT Cosmetics and these two products are my favorites. They’re perfect for your favorite make-up loving friend. This red lip by Chanel looks good on every skin tone and this Chanel mascara is the best for volume! Also, if you wanted to really do it glam and you live in Raleigh, pick up a gift card to the oh-so-swanky Paintbase (formerly Paintbar Nails).
For the Fashionista
Fur is such a great detail, especially for the holidays. I also love this cold shoulder top sweater. And I love the sparkle details of these shoes and earrings.
For the Hard to Shop For
I would classify myself as hard to shop for. I generally don’t wait for things, but rather buy for myself. These are gifts that I have been given that were ones that I used that I liked. For a hard to shop for friend, I also generally recommend experiences. I enjoy nothing more than an event or a dinner out. If you live in the area, I’d recommend a trip to Lorena Luca Spa for a girls’ day with lunch after in Cameron Village. Or check out Historic Oakwood’s Candlelight Tour December 10-11 (P.S. There is a $5 discount if you purchase your tickets by 12/8). I took my friend KP to Oakwood’s tea in the spring for her birthday and it was a great time!
For the One Who’d Rather Stay In
This is maybe my favorite category. As much as I am on the go, I find myself recharging at home in silence. The gold details are perfect for the holidays. I like these pajama options because I am pretty hot natured, and again with the fur. It’s an instant luxe booster.
For the Office-Supply Hoarder
I love paper products. It’s not a secret that I should buy stock in Rifle Paper Co. It’s every office supply lovers dream! The paper is the perfect weight and these Staedtler pens don’t bleed through. Also, these sticky notes are so good for time management for me during the week.
For the Organized One
Rifle Paper Company is just too good for organization. I have loved my travel desk calendar, and the weekly desk pad is great for making to-do lists and notes. This is the second year I’ve used an Emily Ley planner and I can’t say enough good things. My Cuyana tote has been my go-to work bag for the past few years. It’s large enough to hold my laptop, and is sturdy enough to hold a lot of different notebooks. And I love these sweet pineapple paperclips!
For the Always on the Go
Having a good pair of sunglasses is important for the girl who is always on the road or running errands around town. This travel coffee mug is perfect for the holidays. A good cell phone case and a portable charger are also important for those who are contstantly on the go. This rose salve is perfect for dry lips, hands, cuticles, cuts, burns, scraps… you get the picture.
For the Work-Out Enthuasiast
I love Zella workout wear from Nordstrom, and this twist front top would go great from barre to brunch. This oversize sweater will be perfect for when the temperatures finally cool off enough to need this and would also work well for running errands after. Alo leggings are my new favorite brand! They are the softest and hold up so well. And y’all know I don’t go anywhere without my gold S’well bottle! It’s still one of mine & DG’s favorite purchases.
For the Hostess with the Mostest
For my friends who are great hostesses, I always notice the touches they put on things. This hobnail cocktail shaker gives me all the heart-eye emojis. I love this bottle opener, too. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to leave that sitting out on the counter while entertaining. I’ve been big on cookbooks, so a cocktail book would be a great addition to anyone’s cookbook collection. This cheese tray would be a great housewarming or wedding gift in addition to a great Christmas gift to your favorite hostess. And of course Moscow Mule mugs because, duh.
Alright, y’all! Your turn! What are your picks for this holiday season? What should I add to my shopping list for my friends and family?
P.S. Don’t forget to check out my local holiday gift guide. Even if you’re not from NC, these are some of my favorite gifts to send.
Hope you have a great Tuesday!
xx
The hard to shop for made me giggle!! We all know someone like that though right? 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing this I will definitely keep it handy. Hope that you are having a great week too!
Love your recommendations! People should have no trouble shopping if they’ve seen this post. I’m an office supply nerd and I bought those pens after seeing them on your blog. They are amazing!
