I’ve been feeling in a rut recently. I haven’t been able to put my finger on what has been causing me to feel a little down, but I needed this weekend to catch my breath. My parents came into town to visit, and we had a nice dinner with friends Friday night. Saturday, it was a gloomy, rainy day, so we had a lazy one where we slept in, snuggled the boys, and then rode to Durham. I picked up a few home office supplies from my favorite shop, Chet Miller, before taking them to lunch at Picnic in Durham. Picnic made my list of best BBQ places in the triangle (seen here). And then Sunday, I caught up on blog reading, blog planning, went to barre, and then graded papers.

I get that way sometimes as well. Often to get out of it, I do exactly what you did. A challenging workout and getting ahead so that I’m not stressing during the week. Hope you have a nice day!

Looks like you had a fun weekend! Love your nail color!
DYING over those flats! I was in Wilmington on a bachelorette trip and I had a blast, but today was a struggle. Lazy weekends are always the best. We all need to time to recharge!
