Good morning, friends! I am so excited to share a travel guide for Winston-Salem today. I enjoyed our stay at the Graylyn Estate so much and checking out the town that I took my girlfriends back for another trip to check out a few other things. Here are my favorite things to see, eat, and stay while you are there.
What to See
We had the best time checking out the Reynolda House both for the architecture but also for the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit. Georgia O’Keeffe was one of the first artists I learned to appreciate and after this exhibit, I am even more fascinated with her life, and her role as a feminist. I also would love to see Madewell create a line of clothes based off of the ones in her exhibit as well.
There are beautiful gardens on the property to check out as well. And Reynolda Village has great dining and shopping options. The Reynolda House is right across the Graylyn Estate and makes it like a true getaway to have these two estates right across from each other!
I am a huge fan of taking in the history of towns and cities, so Old Salem was such a gem. It was the perfect stroll for a fall day. I definitely recommend taking some time to learn about the history of the Salem part of town!

Where to Eat
When Angela, Glory, & I visited the first time, we stopped at Mozelle’s for a quick bite before checking into the Graylyn. I had been itching to go back to try their famous tomato pie, and y’all, it was delicious. We started with Southern spring rolls and finished with coconut cake. It was an incredible meal and I can’t recommend it enough!
P.S. How cute are these blankets for chilly days? I love this touch!
I’ve posted about my meal at the Katharine before here, and I just need you to know that it is hands down one of my favorite meals to date. And the interior is just as stunning!
Where to Stay
What are your favorite things to do in Winston-Salem? If you’ve never been and you take a day trip, let me know what you think! I’d love to hear what else I should do on a return trip!
