With the holiday hustle in full swing, I have been focusing on being present, enjoying the moment, and making sure that I am comfortable. I tried out 6 outfits perfect for the holiday season, no matter where you are going or what the occasion.
Gold Maxi Skirt

Last year, I styled a gold metallic midi skirt with a t-shirt for a holiday party I went to, and it was one of my favorite outfits from the year. But, I loved pairing the gold maxi skirt with a black body suit and OTK boots. It would be cute paired with a fur jacket for cooler nights. Stay tuned for how I style this skirt for my birthday next month, too.

Metallic Sweater

My friend Kristin and I met for hot chocolate at Videri Chocolate Factory after seeing this on their Instagram. If you haven’t tried it yet, I suggest running (literally) over and grabbing a cup, and getting some holiday shopping done while you’re there. Also, ask for John Michael when placing your order. He has the best recommendations and makes you feel like an old friend.

Red Sweater + Faux Leather Leggings

I love a good sweater tunic, but find that sometimes it’s hard to find ones that are long enough. This J. Jill sweater tunic is the perfect length and weight and I love the color for the holiday season. I paired it with my favorite Spanx Faux Leather Leggings (also seen here) and my OTK boots. I’ve always been obsessed with this gray coat and my Dissent pin is my favorite new addition to my wardrobe.

Camel Tunic

I am loving the new improvements to the warehouse district in downtown Raleigh, and Kristin has been designated mine and Glory’s new location scout. The Dillon’s common space and the new train station are absolutely stunning. The train station is especially lovely decorated for the holiday! If you didn’t know, David and I took the train from Rocky Mount to DC for our first married Christmas. You can see details of our trip here and here. Looking for a place to stay in D.C.–here’s my favorite option.

Black Jumpsuit

This black, wide-legged jumpsuit is so comfy and soft. I paired it with these festive red heels, but it would be great paired with flats or booties as well. And if you haven’t been to Junction West yet in the Raleigh Warehouse district, you are missing out. It is an absolutely beautiful space and the cocktails are on point. I can’t wait to bring Winston & Gizmo to hang out on the patio when it warms up.

Gold Embellished Fair Isle Sweater

I wore this outfit a few weekends ago when exploring Winston-Salem, and I loved the weight of this sweater, the gold embellishments, and these booties are super comfy and great for walking around a city!
