It’s no secret that our front porch is my favorite part of our home and one of my favorite ways to spend the weekend is by decorating the space, and then enjoying time outdoors with the boys. This year, I’ve been really proud of myself for holding off on decorating too early for fall as I’ve been known to do in the past. So, I slowly started updating the space, and I am pleased with our finished product for October. Here is our inviting and cozy fall front porch decor ideas.
Our Inviting and Cozy Fall Front Porch Decor Ideas
We have been having increasingly hot temperatures this fall, so we decided to keep our ferns and palms out. We added a mix of real and faux pumpkins. Unfortunately, some of our real pumpkins last year rotted, so we decided to invest in some faux pumpkins to be useable each year. We got ours on sale from Michael’s in late September. There are some great options at Nordstrom as well.
I picked up the small pillows on the bench from the Target dollar spot last year, but there are some cute options for this year, plus affordable options from Amazon. We added an outdoor fan earlier in the spring and these rugs have been really helpful in keeping the echo down on our front porch. This is a big deal because Gizmo is triggered by sounds on the front porch and on the front door.
