I’m back with my second gift guide of 50 gifts that are $50 and Under for her. I feel like the majority of the gifts that we buy are in this price range, and I am really excited to share these offerings! The rest of this week will be dedicated to all kinds of blog posts, including the ones for her at different price points, gifts for him, and my very favorite to write, the best of North Carolina featuring local loves. This blog post will be the most dense, featuring beauty products, home decor, fashion loves, and some of the best reads from 2020. I hope you find something for your gift giving needs this year!

50 Amazing Gifts for $50 and Under
Gifts that Pamper
One of my favorite treats is my Chanel Mascara for volume and thickness. To be honest, I haven’t had many places to wear it during 2020, but it’s still my favorite for a special occasion. I’ve long been a fan of Herbivore’s Coco Rose scrub, and this gift set is perfect for exfoliating and hydrating. ILIA highlighter serum has been my favorite beauty product in 2020. Despite not wearing make-up most days, I do use this under my daily moisturizer. It comes in three different shades.
I love Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil as party of my self care Sunday routine. It’s a great treat for the tips of my hair as well! Plus it smells great! The Revlon Hair Dryer Brush is such a great product for naturally frizzy hair. This alpine beauty cleanser is lovely and such a treat! It makes a nighttime face washing ritual feel elevated. There is a reason that the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask have such cult followings. Both are so hydrating and perfect for daily use.
Jade Rollers are so helpful for de-puffing and decompressing after a long day. Biossance squalane and tea tree oil is a great balancing option for those with sensitive skin. It’s a perfect addition to any skin care routine! You can’t go wrong with the Cottage Greenhouse Bubbling Milk Bath. My favorite scent is the Violette Fig and Black Currant.
Books to Gift
I have always loved to read and have really tried to make a point of taking time to do that this year. My most recommended book is The Hamlet Fire, which is an important read to understand rural North Carolina and the chicken processing industry. The Guest List was my favorite read this year; I honestly couldn’t put it down. The Splendid and the Vile is another great historical read about Winston Churchill during World War II. Coffee table books are a weakness of mine, and Garden & Gun’s The Southerner’s Cookbook is such a staple. Two other lovely books to add to a collection are Dolly Parton’s Storyteller book and the book on royal style. Lastly, I finally read The Nightingale and it was another that I couldn’t put down about the resistance, women’s empowerment, and family during World War II.
Fashion & Accessory Gift Ideas for Her
The paperclip chain necklace trend is one that is fun for accessory lovers to layer necklaces. It’s no secret that I adore civicly engaged fashion wear, so this shirt and necklace are perfect for continuing to talk about the importance of registering to vote and actually voting. These silk face masks are so nice for wearing masks for 8+ hours. One of my most questioned piece of jewelry is a dainty gold ring I wear on my pointer finger. While the one I have is no longer available, this one is a nice option!
The Best Home and Miscellaneous Gifts $50 and Under
This smart alarm clock is one of my favorite purchases in 2020. One of the most commented items I’ve had this year is my bath tub tray. While the one I have was custom built by David to fit our tub, this one is a lovely option! I fell in love with these candle holders for our living room and a set of 2 or 3 would make a beautiful gift. Capri Blue candles are some of my favorite to gift and this new scent is perfect for the holidays and will transition beautifully after the holidays. For quarantine nights at home, a set of cheese knives, a cheese board, and a Corkcicle air chiller makes the perfect trio of gifts. A Google Home Mini is such a great home item.
Erisha’s Etsy shop, A Thing Created, is one of my favorites to get personalized gifts including note cards and art prints. I have several of her prints around the house and I selected the NYC print since I’m missing the city. The weighted bangle sets are perfect for work outs at home. Fiddle leaf figs are still a favorite house plant around here and make a great gift idea for your favorite plant lady. A neck wrap that can be heated up or chilled is such a thoughtful gift during this time especially. Cozy gifts are favorites of mine to receive, like the pom throw and fringed scarf that are still some of my most beloved items. Lavender Smoke is such an interesting scent for our home. For an AirPods owner, this case is such a beautiful option.
These teddy bear slippers are so cozy and luxurious for the price. This block letter monogram necklace would pair great with the layering necklace above and also alone. We’ve been on the hunt for the best reusable water bottle and this brand is definitely our favorite these days. I love a good puzzle and this holiday one from Rifle Paper would be such a sweet gift. For comforting gifts, the satin sleep set, weighted eye mask, and weighted blanket are amazing options for getting a good night’s rest. I love a good set of wine glasses and these metallic rimmed ones are gorgeous and perfect for the holiday season. My votes for women mug is hands down my favorite coffee mug to use daily. And I love my makeup eraser and think the set of 7 is such a nice option!
