Coffee Talk: March 2019 Edition

Coffee Talk: March 2019 Edition - I'm Fixin' To - @mbg0112

Good morning and Happy Friday, y’all!  We’ve gone a full week with warmer temperatures and little rain!  This is a welcome change and David and I are looking forward to making a trip to the beach this week.  I also am making time to plant flowers in our flower beds and our planters.  I hope you have a great weekend ahead and thank you for joining me for coffee talk!

I am so honored to be featured alongside of some of my favorite local influencers in this edition of 919 Magazine.  Check out the feature here.

5 years ago, I gave up drinking soda cold turkey, and switched over to only drinking La Croix.  In honor of that decision, here is a tribute to La Croix with 25 facts about my beverage of choice.

Here is a great guide for folding clothes.  I started using this method a couple of years ago to create more space in my drawers and closet.

For a while, David and I didn’t have any real travel plans solidified, but things have picked up.  We’re heading to Wilmington tomorrow, Baltimore in April, Chicago in May, and Louisville in June.  I am really excited about the travel, while also acknowledging that I am making sure other weekends are not jam packed to avoid burn out!

I mentioned back in my January coffee talk that I was doing no spend for a year on clothes or shoes.  I fell off and forgot my intentions behind that for a bit, but this post with 15 questions to consider before buying new clothes helped remind me.

Some of my friends tease me because I have a work uniform.  I wear some sort of camel sweater or top, black pants or a black skirt at least one a week, if not more often.  I loved this post about a personal style uniform.  There is definitely value and ease in it!

I love that Vogue includes political articles, and especially this one, featuring my favorite #Twitterstorian, Dr. Kevin M. Kruse.

This lip sleeping mask has really helped hydrate my lips and I’ve added it to my self-care routine as a result.

Are you following me on Instagram?  My March Instagram giveaway is my self-tanning routine of Isle of Paradise tanning drops and Aveeno moisturizer.
