Their outdoor seating area is perfect for people-watching, and the food menu is just as good—anything from avocado toast to indulgent cheesecakes.

Stroll Sam’s Branch Greenway Trail

This 3.25-mile greenway trail features public art and connects downtown Clayton to the Clayton Riverwalk, which is part of the North Carolina Mountains to Sea Trail. Enjoy scenic views of the Neuse River, including a pedestrian bridge over the water. Public parking areas and multiple trailheads make it easy to explore this trail at your own pace.
