Their outdoor seating area is perfect for people-watching, and the food menu is just as good—anything from avocado toast to indulgent cheesecakes.

Stroll Sam’s Branch Greenway Trail

This 3.25-mile greenway trail features public art and connects downtown Clayton to the Clayton Riverwalk, which is part of the North Carolina Mountains to Sea Trail.
