Good morning and happy Monday, friends! I cannot believe that we just had the last weekend of August! I had a whirlwind week and weekend, but I’m so glad that I got to head to Winston-Salem with Angela & Glory. We checked out some awesome restaurants, stayed at the second largest home in North Carolina after the Biltmore Estate, and enjoyed getting to know more about the property from our amazing tour guide, Drew. There will be more to come on this, but here’s a sneak peek at our weekend.
When we first got to Winston-Salem, we headed over to West End to have an afternoon snack at Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro. I want to go back so that I can try some of their tomato pie.

Once we finished lunch, we headed over to check in at Graylyn Estate. The staff was extremely friendly and sweet, but we had the best time on our tour of the property with Drew and then later with Danielle in the Grille. We truly lived our best life while there and I am looking forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.
We had dinner at The Katherine Brasserie and oh my gosh, was our meal delicious! I had a New York strip steak, au gratin potatoes, and green beans. Their menu features so many locally sourced options, and y’all know that earns bonus points for me at restaurants.

This white off the shoulder top from Kannon’s Clothing (c/o) paired with my favorite white skinnies and wedges was perfect for breakfast at the Graylyn Sunday morning.
How was your weekend? Link up with Biana and me and tell us all about it.
Thank you to Visit Winston-Salem, Graylyn Estate, and Katharine Brasserie for hosting us.
So fun! I love the sweater/skinnies outfit. So cute and comfy for exploring the town!
These pictures look amazing! I need to visit this place and eat all of that food.
What a fun girls trip- and all that food looks delicious!!
