One of my favorite ways to make a fashion statement is through earrings and there are some earring designers that have been in my recent rotation. In honor of Black history month, I wanted to highlight three Black women jewelry designers to know about and take in their work! While I tend to gravitate towards statement earrings, if you prefer necklaces, bracelets, or rings, they also design incredible pieces for that.

Jam+Rico

I discovered Jam+Rico thanks to a friend who sent me the large leaf earrings and said “I feel like you need these.” And they are some of my most worn earrings. They’re light weight, a beautiful gold, and go with everything. Here are two ways I paired them–with a spring dress and with my overalls and favorite booties. My parents got me another pair of Jam+Rico earrings for Christmas this year. I love the unique take on traditional gold hoops and reach for them for formal and casual outfits. They’re my go-to work from home earrings, as well!

Humans Before Handles
This jewelry line is founded by Ashley Sims and is such a fun, colorful line with all its pieces under $50. I am looking forward to wearing some of these pieces on some of my spring and summer travels, especially this pair and this pair. Be sure to head over to my Instagram to enter my February giveaway for a $50 gift card to use at Humans Before Handles!
We Dream in Colour
I first learned of We Dream in Colour while staying at Hotel Emeline because I found these earrings in Keep Shop. There are so many gorgeous options, though these are an absolute favorite of mine. I cannot get over their size, yet how light weight they are! That’s a must for my statement earrings, though for heavier ones, I do use these lobe wonders. We Dream in Colour is a company that focuses on sustainability and are handmade.
