Coffee Talk: April Edition

Happy Friday!  This week has flown by and I’m excited for the weekend.   I have a list a mile long of tasks to accomplish this weekend, but I’m looking forward to crossing those things off.  There’s nothing more gratifying than completing a to-do list, amirite?

Perhaps the most famous Instagram husband is one of my favorite people, ever.

I love listening to my best buds Andrea & Lee on their podcast, Married with Television, mainly because I find myself nodding along and laughing out loud.

My friend L is back in NC and we spent the afternoon chatting before barre yesterday.

I shared my travel guide to Bald Head Island yesterday.  David and I are still talking about how awesome our trip was and daydreaming of when we can get back.

We stopped at Provision Company in Southport for dinner before catching the ferry to Bald Head, and man, I am craving that meal again.  P.S. Check out these sunnies here.

I love the porch on this house.

I’m less than 30 days away from starting grad school.  I’m over the moon excited, but y’all, I’m a little nervous.  I made a decision to step down from my online teaching job after this semester so I can focus on my classes and also, so I have more time to spend trying to relax.  I come home from work, and on some nights, my only time I’m not working is when I’m at barre.

We’re also less than 30 days away from listing our first house.  I’m feeling all sorts of nostaglia despite the fact that I’ve been more than ready to move for the past couple of years.  Do we know where we’re going?  Nope.  But we’ll figure that out when the time comes.

One of my favorite photographers was featured in Garden & Gun for his work shedding light on the beautiful region of eastern North Carolina.  If you’ve been here for a while, you know there are few things I love more than the part of North Carolina where I was raised.  Watson Brown has done a great job of educating people on what is happening to the region.  I am so proud that he was featured in one of my go-to magazines.

I mean, if Cameran uses it, Meghan uses it.  It’s science.  These tan wipes are seriously my favorites.
