Current Beauty Routine

It’s been a while since I did a round up of my favorite beauty products, so I wanted to take some time to introduce you to my current beauty routine.

I’ve been a big fan of It! Cosmetics for about a year now. I love skin care, but the Confidence in a Compact is absolutely amazing. It’s so smooth, light, but provides great coverage. It also have serum, SPF 50, which is so important for me these days, and an anti-aging armour.

Smith’s Rosebud Salve is my saving grace. I have about 10 tubs of this that I stash everywhere because I use it all the time. It’s perfect for dry lips, but also scraps, cuts, burns, dry patches, and in a rough spot, taking off mascara that gets under your eyes. Seriously, it’s my make up secret.

I used to just let my brows be, but in recent months, I have filled them in using Benefit Ka-Brow, even if I’m not wearing all my make up. I feel that I makes me look more put together. I love the entire Benefit Bigger & Better Brow Kit.

Benefit’s Dew the Hoola bronzer is what I put on over top of my Confidence in a Compact serum if I’m not wearing a full face of make-up. In case you didn’t know, I don’t usually wear make up during the week, but if I do this is step two of my routine.

Cameran from Southern Charm posted about this Chanel mascara on her Instagram, and I have been loving her lashes. So, I decided to give it a try, and it’s the real deal. I won’t be switching any time soon.

I used to wear a ton of different perfumes depending on my mood or where I was going. Now, I am solely wearing Tocca Stella. I originally tried it because Joanna Gaines wears it. Remember, if Joanna does it, then I do it. However, I really couldn’t get over how great it smelled and I get a ton of compliments on it.

My tried and true lip color for anything from a girls’ day of shopping, facilitating meetings, or date night with DG, is Tom Ford’s Pink Dust. The formula is great and the color is perfect, no matter what your skin tone.

I have a thing for bar soaps these days. Mistral is a favorite brand of mine not just for their packaging (which is gorgeous), but also for their scents and the quality of the bars. I have both magnolia and gardenia and it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. These make great housewarming gifts, too!

I have tried other eyeliners, but my favorite for my top lid is Maybelline Lash Stiletto. I use very black and it goes on so smooth and even. You can’t beat the price, either!
