Friday Favorites: Last One of April

Y’all, this week flew by!  I feel like I woke up, blinked, and it’s all of a sudden Friday.  This time of year is generally crazy busy any way with the school year wrapping up.  But this May will be unlike anything we’ve had in a while!  We’re listing our first house for sale, searching for a new place to call home, traveling for a wedding and for work, and taking on some uncharted territory with careers and grad school.  I’m so excited for our future, but there are times where I really wish I could just hit the pause and soak it all in.

Above is my favorite Friday tradition of fresh hydrangea stems from my local florist, Flowers on Broad.

I’m so excited for Monday’s blog post.  I’m collaborating with North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Bertie County Peanuts just in time for the Got to Be NC Festival in Raleigh.  Stay tuned for a favorite recipe using eastern North Carolina peanuts.  P.S. My dad and my uncle went to the ECU v. NC State baseball game Wednesday night and they made the newspaper.  I think this is the cutest picture of my dad.
