I’ve posted a lot about our inspiration for our home updates. After painting 3 out of the 4 rooms a bright color, our pick of Sherwin Williams Repose Gray was the perfect refresher we were looking for. Â Now, our decoration hunt is on.
Some of you have been reading along as I’ve been painting furniture with chalk paint. Â Read about my chairs here. Â But I redid my nightstand to turn it into a vanity.
(Typical of my Winston to photobomb)
A few shopping details: I use these Anthropologie drawer pulls on our TV stand and our desk.  They’re expensive, so I only chose to use these on my vanity.  I also love this acrylic make-up organizer that is a steal at under $20!  And this Produce Wildflowers candle is so fresh.
Our kitchen will take a little more time. Â We are wanting to backsplash the kitchen, but we’re waiting until next month (for next month’s paycheck).
The small updates we’ve made are just little items.
I have three of these rugs from Ballard Designs in our kitchen, and they’re really convenient. Â I’m also obsessed with Heirloomed Collection, so this dishtowel is one of my favorites. Â This is adulthood, y’all. Â Dishtowels make you happy. Â And after posting this picture, I really want to upgrade our stove.
And a close up of my new Rifle Paper recipe box.  And this trivet by American Stonecraft is amazing.
Have y’all ever heard of Beekman? Â They’re farm boys from upstate New York who went on the Amazing Race to save their family farm. Â And now, they make skin care products out of goat milk. Â I love their products, and I was so excited to add this caddy to our kitchen.
This is my favorite flea market find, ever. Â The sideboard was a find we picked up prior to buying our house and I love it. Â I am really all about boxwood right now, so these two topiaries from Summerhouse are my favorite. Â The tray was a find at my grandmother’s house and the design is made out of butterfly wings. Â And finally, my talented husband made this pig and used an old frame we had for me.
So, there you have it. Â Stay tuned for future editions as we are more aggressive with our home improvements right now.
Hope y’all are having a great weekend! Â Stop by tomorrow for weekending!
Love all the work you are doing to your house!! Decorating a house is truly a marathon… you have to do it step by step. It's SO expensive! We are still doing small projects here and there!
All the changes look great. The vanity is so cute, and I love how fresh and clean it looks. I hear you on the kitchen, I want to re-do my whole kitchen.
Love your little recipe box! You're doing some great updates!

Love your vanity! I need one so bad! Can't wait to see what you do for your backsplash. Our kitchen could really use one too!
