One of our goals was to create a master bedroom that would be a retreat, relaxing, and cozy. Â I shared our master bedroom inspiration last February and progress that we made last year. Â Recently, we have been updating our space given the seasons to maintain that comfy, cozy environment. Â We get great natural light in our bedroom and we opted for darker walls to keep it cozy.
Today, I’m sharing our master bedroom essentials for various seasons and our favorite interior decor.
I love a crisp, white bedding year round. Â David and I upgraded from our queen mattress to a Casper king size mattress over the summer, and I’ve been switching out our bedding depending on the season. Â During the summer, we used this quilt set and I loved it so much, I bought one for each of our guest bedrooms, too. Â This duvet is not too heavy for warmer nights, but is warm enough for the really chilly temperatures we’ve recently been having. Â I picked up this duvet cover on a great sale and love changing it out with different blankets & throw pillows.
We hung these winter photos over our bed and will change them out during different seasons. Â I’m currently eyeing these for spring, summer, and fall.
I swap out trays and candles depending the season as well, but recently, I’ve been burning Capri Blue candles. Â I am still swooning over this mirror that we added to our space. Â I always love having flower arrangements as well. Â Raleigh people, my go-to spots for fresh flowers are Brewery Bhavana, Fleurs de Moufette in Morgan Street Food Hall, and Flowers on Broad Street.
