Now that we are getting dressed a bit more frequently, I’m excited to round up some of the Spring essentials I’ve been wearing when venturing out and about. I’ve shared a few favorite purchases I’ve made recently. And listen, while I’m happy to retire my loungewear most days, I still can’t wait to change into elastic waist pants, wash my face, and lay on the bed with the boys after wearing real clothes for too long.

Style Diary: My Spring Essentials
I snagged this black jumpsuit on a whim and I’m so glad I did! I have enjoyed wearing it on warm days and paired with a jacket on cooler evenings. The fabric, while breathable, is also thick enough. I appreciate the elastic waist, the loose ankles, and the scoop neck in both the front and the back. It’s a good one! I paired it here with my Hunter Blake oyster earrings, a straw tote (old, similar here), and my favorite pair of Jack Rogers.
I’ve worn this dress a lot and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. It also comes in black, though I’m partial to bleu and white stripes, especially in summer. I paired with another pair of Hunter Blake earrings and these espadrilles that have been getting quite a bit of wear. I wore this on a recent trip to the Blockade Runner on Wrightsville.
I purchased this outfit last year and I am still love it for this year! I love the high waisted linen pants (old, similar here) and I pair them with this black cropped tank (old, similar here). I added this adorable pair of popsicle earrings to my jewelry collection and have loved wearing them to brighten up my neutral outfits. Want to see more about our front porch? Check out this post here thanks to the help of my friends at Fairview Garden Center.
I recently met my friend Clarke at Jolie for supper and I wore this green skirt that I ordered with this beautifully embroidered top. I paired it with these gold J. Crew shoes (old, similar here). I can’t wait to pair this top with other items in my closet, especially when we travel to New York City later this summer.
Since I am trying to be more conscious of purchasing new clothing, I decided to try a subscription to Rent the Runway. I started out with the 8 rental pieces a month. This top, these fun pants, and the crossbody bag are three of the items I selected. Interested in learning more? Check it out here! Save 40% off your 8 or 16 item membership with code: RTRFAM58E7FA9
I’ve been living in this kaftan, y’all. Living. I love the color, I love the cut, and I love how comfortable it is while still looking put together. Here, I paired it with a pair of gold strappy sandals and my favorite palm earrings. If you want to see more of my favorite earrings so far this year, check out this post! Also, if you are interested in updating your stemware, I shared some of the glasses we picked last year!
To keep with my blue and white stripe theme, here is a swim suit that I picked up last year but didn’t really get a chance to enjoy. This swimsuit is made from recycled plastic water bottles. It gives a lot of coverage and the ruffle details are a nice touch! I paired with this sarong, my favorite Brixton hat, and a pair of Michelle McDowell earrings.
I recently picked up this black dress from Target to wear for weekend errands, casual outings, and for some upcoming travel. I’ve paired it with these wedges that are a personal favorite and will also be pairing with these Rothy’s sneakers for an upcoming trip where I’ll be doing a lot of walking. P.S.
