Weekending with Wente Vineyards

This weekend was a whirlweek of anxiety, excitement, and impromptu catching up with friends.  We listed our first house for sale on Thursday and opened it up for showings on Saturday.  We received multiple offers, so we spent Sunday reviewing and celebrating with Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay.  Our initial attraction to this house was the back yard, so it was only fitting to celebrate on the patio.

I first tried Wente Chardonnay when we had our staycation at Fearrington House Inn a couple of weeks ago.  Their story is that the Wente Family is the California first family in Chardonnay, and I can definitely see why. Learn more about Wente Vineyards and their story here.

David and I always love a good excuse to celebrate milestones, so this process of selling our first home has been no different.  We are both so excited about searching for our next house, but are nostaglic about selling this house because of all our memories and hard work we’ve put into this place.  Wente Vineyards is currently sharing “For the Love of the Journey,” and that seems appropriate for this process for David and me as well.  I can’t wait to see where our journey takes us next.
