Y’all, I am not even remotely sad to see April go. It was rollercoaster ride of a month and I am so grateful for a fresh start this month. This month has several exciting events happening, and I cannot wait to share those with you! So, let’s welcome May with an April Instagram round up!
I *loved* spending time getting ready for our spring break trip to Blowing Rock. I picked up this pullover and I love these shoes, too. I’ve never been a big sneaker fan, but these are like clouds. PS, you can get my RDU hat here.
I am so obsessed with this sold out top from The Flourish Market (free shipping with code IMFIXINTO) and these shoes (similar here and here). I’m also obsessed with Hummingbird, the cutest place for happy hour. See more about Hummingbird here.
How fun is this tie front top from J. Crew Factory? It is perfect with high waisted jeans and I’ll pair it with denim shorts for weekend wear.
I am sure y’all are tired of hearing about this, but one of my favorite parts of 2018 has been crossing the Mile High Bridge at Grandfather Mountain. My control issues are strong, so being able to cross this was a big feat for me. The view from the top of Grandfather Mountain is simply amazing and worth it.
I shared the 7 best places to get a good cheeseburger in the Triangle, and one of my all-time favorites is Char-Grill! See the rest of the list here.
I shared some of my favorite ways to wear white jeans here. I am really loving this J. Jill top for both work and for weekends.
Check out what I packed from Great Outdoor Provision in Cameron Village in this Range Rover Discovery Sport from Land Rover Cary here.
We loved staying at The New Public House and Hotel while in Blowing Rock, and this white jeans and chambray shirt are a favorite combo.
P.S. Breakfast is included with your stay at The New and I am still dreaming of this French toast.
I also love this plaid top from J. Jill for spring. It has the cutest button detail on the back.
I love a good lightweight sweater for spring, and this one is perfect. I also love these jeans and shoes for spring and my signature earrings and bangles (buckle and classic bangle).
I loved sampling Red Bull Organics at Oakwood Pizza box! See more from my fun afternoon here. I really love the tonic with a lime for a refreshing afternoon treat.
I love this outfit from Bella Mar, a new shop in Cameron Village. See more about the shop here.
It’s that time of year where I am just craving shrimp burgers all the time, and this one from Chuck’s in downtown Raleigh is delicious!
I was drinking too much coffee a few months ago, and I decided to start drinking more caffeine free tea when I was needing a bit more flavor in the afternoon. I will always love afternoon tea at Fearrington House Restaurant.
When the weather breaks, I start craving more time by the water and a good, linen dress.
Just one more plug for this trip! I would love to make another trip to Grandfather Mountain this summer. Check out my travel guide and where to stay for your own trip!
Loving this top and shorts for spring!
I have really loved the weight and fabric of this sweater for both work and for date nights on cooler evenings. This color is one of my favorites, too.
I have been intentional with taking time to plan for the week ahead, to reflect, and to make sure that I am utilizing my time wisely, with positivity and gratitude. I have also been trying to stop and take time to soak in experiences so I can truly enjoy the moment instead of always having regret. April had a couple of devastating blows for me, but I have been trying to use this to move forward and soak in the learning.
Would y’all want to see a post on the best places to get ice cream in the Triangle? Because I’m all about doing the research for that! This chocolate peanut butter ice cream from Sunni Sky’s in Angier is the best!
This little nook in our kitchen is one of my favorite spots. I am working on a post about my favorite indoor plants, so this little English ivy is definitely a bright part of my kitchen. Shop my tea kettle, food scale, recipe box, and tray here.
Here is how I styled this shirt with my white jeans for a cooler day in Blowing Rock.
It’s almost time for the Kentucky Derby! Needing inspiration, last minute hostess gifts? Check out this post for how to get ready at University Place in Chapel Hill.
