Happy Friday and the day before the Christmas celebrations begin for some of us. It is hard to believe that in a week, we’ll be gearing up for another weekend of celebrating as we ring in 2017. I’ll be recapping a few of my favorites from 2016 over the next couple of weeks, including 20 things I learned in my 20s as I’ll ring in my 30th birthday in January. This one may be my favorite posts of the 2016 recaps because two years ago on our honeymoon, I told DG I wanted to travel as much as I could and explore wherever I could, even if it was just around North Carolina. Around this time last year, I really made my decision to take my brand around things that I feel the most passionately about, and exploring parts of North Carolina really took center stage on my list.
