A couple of weekends ago, I packed my bags to head to AC Hotel in North Hills for a girls’ night with Angela, Courtney, and Glory. Â We had a fun night planned with happy hour at Level7 Rooftop, dinner at the Capital Grille, and then a morning of breakfast at Happy + Hale, and shopping at Copper Penny, Kendra Scott, and South Moon Under. Â Here is my guide to the ultimate girls’ night in North Hills.
I am a huge fan of the AC Hotel for a staycation in Raleigh. Â North Hills has so much to offer without having to leave the area. Â David and I stayed there for my birthday in January, and it was great to head back for a night out with girl friends. Â We checked in at the AC Hotel, and unwound a little bit from the work day before heading up to Level7 for happy hour. Â One of my favorite amenities is the rain shower. That is a definite master bathroom upgrade goal of mine in our ranch.

After getting settled in and changed, we headed up to Level7 Rooftop Bar for tapas and a cocktail. Â We ordered cheese ravioli, charcuterie, and the Margherita flatbread.

After happy hour, we walked across the street to The Capital Grille for dinner. Â It was our first time at the restaurant and, y’all, it did not disappoint. Â The cocktail menu is on a tablet with full descriptions of the selections, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Â Courtney is a vegetarian and Angela is a pescatarian, and the Capital Grille had something to fit both of their tastes. Â Glory and I decided to order a few small plates to share, including truffle fries, lobster macaroni & cheese, and the wedge salad.

After a lovely evening, we headed back to the AC Hotel to turn in for the night. Â Saturday morning, we woke up and headed to Happy + Hale for breakfast. Â Courtney & Â I were craving their avocado toast and a good smoothie. Â Angela ordered a veggie breakfast wrap and Glory ordered a poke bowl.

After breakfast, we headed over for a little shopping. Â Our first stop was Copper Penny, which is relatively new to North Hills. Â There are so many great pieces with an amazing variety of both classic and on-trend pieces. Â It was such a fun environment to shop and try on clothes.

Our next stop was Kendra Scott so we could check out their new winter collection. Â I am obsessed with these earrings that I wore Friday night and this mood ring was so fun.

Our last stop was at South Moon Under. Â I was so excited when Raleigh got a South Moon Under because I loved their online shop. Â They have such an awesome selection of home goods, clothing, and accessories.

It was an amazing time exploring one of my favorite spots in Raleigh with friends for the weekend. Â Be sure to check out North Hills for the upcoming holiday season as well. Â Whether it’s shopping, a dinner out with friends, or a place for out of town guests to stay, North Hills has it all.
