I made a pact with myself not to buy any new clothes in 2023 and carried that goal over into 2024. I am proud of myself for sticking to this and cutting down on spending unnecessarily. Pintuck midi dress with drapey organza
I love a flowy summer dress and this one is really pretty! I like that this can be a casual throw-on dress whether as a cover-up or on a hot day for a nap dress. It also can be worn for a night out with heels or wedges paired with a nice clutch and big earrings like these.
Tropez long shorts in linen
Elastic waist – Check. Pockets – Check. Able to dress up or down – Check.
I love the color of these shorts and they also come in three other more neutral colors, such as ivory and black. Pair these with a white tee or tank or with a white button-down (like the one down below) and wedges.
Metallic shell earrings
Nothing says summer like nautical-themed earrings and these metallic shell earrings are stunners!
Squareneck midi dress in linen
A linen square neck midi dress is so classic to me and this comes in three closet-staple colors. I really like it as a take on a little black dress and as a way of dressing up linen for the hot summer months.
Capitaine shirt in Baird McNutt Irish linen
My year-round go-to outfit choice when I am not entirely sure what to wear is a linen button-down and a pair of denim with gold jewelry. I picked up the white version of this shirt a couple of years ago and then the long-sleeved version is blue last year. It is such a great shirt and one that you should definitely add to your closet for a versatile option!
Stratus pant in textured satin
I am making a point of going into the office three days a week and I am *eyeing* these pants to wear into the fall. I love that they have an elastic waist with those deep pockets, and the textured satin fabric feels elevated.

David wears these shirts paired with denim in the spring and early fall and then paired with shorts in the warmer months. I love that they have great solid color options and then always a fun print or two. This bright option with the fish print is so fun for summer!
