The weather in North Carolina has been absolutely gorgeous recently and I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures to stick around. I really like to find outfits that are classic and will work in a variety of temperature options. Â Today, I’m sharing transitional fall outfits for the Southern heat, knowing that our staple is cool mornings and evenings and full blown summer afternoons. Check out three of my favorite outfits for summer to fall fashion.
Summer to Fall Fashion: 3 Transitional Fall Outfits
for the Southern Heat
Long Sleeve Jumpsuit and Mules

I snagged this jumpsuit back in the spring and have worn it as part of my work from home uniform. It’s super comfortable but transitions nicely to the real world, too. I wore it recently to shop for pumpkins for our fall porch and for  a socially distant dinner at Jolie. P.S., Don’t forget to register to vote! Details for North Carolinians can be found here.

Long-Sleeve Dress & Booties

I really love a good gray dress to transition to fall and this one is soft, with the detail of the leg slit and tie waist. I styled it with my favorite fall hat and (faux) snake skin booties (seen often, but my favorite way here). And check out this art installation in the Raleigh Warehouse District in front of Union Station.

Chambray Shirt, Black Skinnies, & Vest
This outfit has been a fall favorite for the past couple of years. I love a good chambray, black jeans combo and I pair it with my field vest and top with my Barbour jacket if it gets really chilly at night.
