Every year, I look forward to taking time to reflect and celebrate the end of another year. This includes a loose outline of the content I want to share on here for the year ahead. Part of that process includes checking back on some of my favorite products from the year. Also, highlighting them in my annual Favorite Things article. While I normally host an annual giveaway, this year, I cleared a teacher’s wishlist in Things I Bought and Liked‘s annual clear the lists hustle for Giving Tuesday. With that being said, here are 22 of my favorite things from 2022!
For my favorites from years past, be sure to check out this collection of articles!

I joined Book of the Month last year thanks to a recommendation from my friend, Clarke, and it has quickly become my favorite subscription. If you follow me on Instagram or my newsletter, you may have seen my monthly reading lists. The majority of my books come from BOTM. A bonus to the subscription is getting add-on books for $10 each! One of my go-to bags for traveling and every day errands is my Lululemon belt bag. Last year, David and I got a Peloton Bike+ to use and it has become an almost every-day staple in our house.
For My Skin
Before any event, I swear by Tata Harper Resurfacing BHA Glow Mask. It is an instant fix for any blemishes that may pop up or splotchiness that I experience, especially after drinking red wine. For more clean beauty favorites, check out this article. I started treating myself to monthly facials at Aillea and this Osea Hyaluronic Sea Serum has been a favorite product that they have used on my skin. These Ugg slippers were on my wishlist last year, so I ordered them early in the season when they came back in stock. Honestly, they are worth all the hype they received and more!
For My Hair
This Virtue Healing Hair Oil has been a lovely addition to my hair routine. Not only does it smell delightful, it increases shine and helps contain frizz. I picked up this skin sculptor that is better than any highlighter I have ever tried. Get the lightest color and start from the outside of your face and work in. The glow is unreal! One of my favorite Amazon purchases this year is this back massager that I originally saw over on Poor Little It Girl’s site!
Lake Pajamas are the softest pjs around and I have a few variations plus a dress that I wore all summer. I love this ice roller as a part of my skin care routine. The LuvScrub has made it onto my favorite things list for another year! It is better than any loofah I have ever tried. I snagged an inflatable pool from Target for the warmer months and it was an absolute favorite of mine this summer.
I am living in these Beyond Yoga joggers for both working from home and for running errands. They are so easy to pair with long sleeve shirts and sweaters. One of my go-to sweaters is this Free People sweater that is perfect for pairing with leggings or jeans. These shirts are so easy to throw on with the joggers or denim. I wore these J.Crew boots all over Chicago & love them paired with jeans, dresses, and skirts.
Another Beyond Yoga piece I am wearing on repeat is this cozy bomber jacket! I have the butterscotch color and it is so soft and warm. David and I both have a set of these Beats Fit Pro and we could not be more pleased. When David updated my closet, I made some organizational changes, including using these shoe stackers. We stayed at the Emeline in Charleston and every room comes with a record player, and so we snagged one for our bedroom at home.
