Well, here we are, welcoming another year and another month today. I am so grateful to see another year and am looking forward to taking the opportunity to better myself, this space, and focusing on positivity and the impact that can make. After a pretty rough year, I am feeling rejuvenated and excited about the possibilities a fresh start always brings. I’m going to welcome January with a December 2018 Instagram Roundup.

I was so sad to take down our Christmas decorations, but there is nothing more refreshing than a clean home. This was our last year with a live tree — we ordered a Balsam Hill tree for next year.

The beautiful weather we had late last week had me daydreaming of poolside in New Orleans last year at this very time. The Le Pavillon Hotel in New Orleans is a stunner and I highly recommend a stay here in the city!
I loved this sweater dress and these OTK boots while visiting New Orleans. You’ll see this outfit again in my fashion round up next week, but what you don’t know about this picture is that David’s finger is covering the flash in the right corner. And I was probably yelling at him right at this moment. One of our goals is to take better photos together that don’t end in an epic meltdown (hah)! Glory has graciously volunteered to teach us how to use our camera, so stay tuned to how that actually goes.
While I love spending time with my girl friends and wearing a good sequin and gold outfit, David and I definitely had dinner at 6:00PM on New Year’s Eve and fell asleep on the couch before ringing in the new year. Oops? Either way, cheers to 2019!
