As you know, I love experiencing the great sights and scenes of Raleigh, and the city is especially delightful during the holidays. Back in 2019, I shared an article featuring the best holiday bars in the Triangle and last year, I wrote an article featuring 5 of the warmest patios and porches in Raleigh. This year, I’m back with five places to try the best holiday cocktails in Raleigh featuring a must-try cocktail at each spot. Here are 5 of the best holiday cocktails in Raleigh to try this year!
5 Places to Try the Best Holiday Cocktails in Raleigh, NC
Santa’s Little Helper at Wye Hill

Wye Hill is a perfect spot to grab a holiday cocktail to take in the scenes of the skyline and great decorations. They keep the patio warm and there is a variety of seating options. Order the Santa’s Little Helper, which includes hot buttered rum, chocolate, cinnamon, peppermint, topped with a Cointreau Chocolate Mousse. My favorite cocktail from last year was the mulled wine, and it’s back again!
Snowball at Kanki Japanese House of Steaks and Sushi

David and I always enjoy a meal at Kanki, especially the miso soup and the ginger dressing on the salad. Enjoy a holiday cocktail to get in the spirit of the season by ordering a Snowball. It’s a delicious mix of Pearl Nigori Sake, cream of coconut, pineapple juice and Malibu rum.
Hot Spiked Cider at Will & Co (+ Their Daily Specials)

One of my favorite bars in Raleigh is William & Company on Person Street. They have great drink specials and delicious tamales for a snack while you’re there. Their hot spiked cider (not pictured) is a delicious holiday option, plus they feature a variety of daily drink specials that are often holiday themed. Plus, their interior is cozy and intriguing!
Dance of Sugar Plum Fairy at Vidrio

Vidrio is such a posh, gorgeous restaurant in Raleigh, and is particularly cozy during the cooler months. And I love that they feature this cocktail as an ode to the Carolina Ballet’s annual production of the Nutcracker.
Snowball Old Fashioned at the Haymaker

I love when the Haymaker turns into the Miracle at the Haymaker! They feature 10 holiday cocktails, including the snowball old fashioned, though, this year, I’m eyeing the Elfing Around since it is both prosecco and mulled wine.
