The weather in North Carolina has been absolutely amazing, despite the pollen haze that we are in. It is that time of year when it is nice and warm, yet not humid, which is a treat here. And that has me breaking out all of my spring fashion favorites. Here are 5 spring essentials for women that I have been reaching for already this year.

Straw Hats

While I am a big advocate of sun protection year-round, spring is the opportunity to break out my favorite straw hats. I do not mind making an investment in hats that provide sun protection and are fashionable. Some of my favorites are this Brixton one, this one from Lack of Color, and this one from Sunshine Tienda.
Flowy Caftans
To me, caftans are a great option when you want to be comfortable and stylish while looking like you styled an outfit with a low level of effort. They are lightweight, flowy, and have those elegant wide sleeves. This one pictured is old, yet I love this one and this one.
Strappy Sandals
These sandals from J.Crew are absolutely gorgeous and have been a favorite for warmer weather. They come in a few different color options. This is another good, neutral pair that works well with dresses, skirts, and white denim.
Statement Earrings
You know I love a good pair of statement earrings. I consider gold a neutral color, and I do not mind wearing loud prints or colors with statement earrings. With that in mind, one of my favorite brands is Mignonne Gavigan for unique earrings.
Straw Bags
Whether you like a smaller bag or a larger one, straw bags are one of my favorites to break out for the spring and into summer. For a larger option, this one (old, similar linked) is my go-to and one of my favorites for the season because it is so versatile, and I have had mine for years now.
