One of my favorite accessories is a good pair of statement earrings. It’s the best way to dress up a t-shirt and jeans, glam up a sweater, and to feel put together which, if you’re like me, is really important as we’re quickly approaching one year of quarantine restrictions. For some people, it’s wearing mascara or lipstick to feel put together, but for me, it’s a good pair of earrings. With that in mind, here are some of my statement earrings that are staples in my closet.

Statement Earrings that I Love
While I do adore a good pair of statement earrings, I tend to gravitate towards earrings that are lightweight. A must-have for your ear lobes are these ear lobe savers from Kendra Scott. They are great for heavier earrings or just to keep your baubles in place.
Gloria Faye Earrings
These earrings are one-of-a-kind and handmade in Charlotte, NC. I ordered custom-made ring dish with my word of the year and happened to see these before they hit her website. They’re so lightweight and beautiful!
Hunter Blake Designs Earrings
This is another small batch earring design company. I have this pair and this pair, which are both still available online, in addition to a couple of pairs (like the ones pictured) which are no longer on their site. These are a beautiful statement option if you prefer studs.
Jam+Rico Hoja Earrings Large
My friend Kayd introduced me to Jam+Rico and I was gifted this pair of earrings for Christmas thanks to my parents. This is a black-owned business and her jewelry is stunning! If you’re not into earrings quite as big as I am, there is a smaller version of these.
J. Crew Colorful Floral Hoop Earrings
These earrings showed up on my Instagram as an ad and they were just too good to pass up. They are beautiful for all seasons in the colorful version and the gold version would be a lovely option for a wedding or anniversary celebration.
J. Crew Fabric-Back Mixed-Gem Statement Earrings
I’m obsessed with these earrings and cannot get over how lightweight they are. They come in a couple of different variations and all are equally beautiful!
Mignonne Gavigan Mini-Madeline Earrings
These are my most-commented on earrings and for certain my staple. The craftsmanship on these is unreal and they are so lightweight while packing a sparkle punch. While I own these in a couple of variations, the silver and gold are differently the ones I reach for most often!
