This is a new series to the site for 2023 and one that I have really enjoyed working on each month. Here are 5 random things the I tried and loved last month, including a new favorite household necessity, a reversible swimsuit option, my new go-to ink pens, the little packet I do not leave the house without during the summer, and my current favorite wine.

5 Things I Tried and Loved in July 2023
one | two | three | four | five
Amazon Reversible One-Piece Swimsuit
I picked this suit up for some potential pool dates and for our annual trip to Ocracoke. Unfortunately, that trip was cut short because we needed to get back to Gizmo, so I’ll be throwing it on for an inflatable pool day here soon. It comes in three color options, is reversible, has fast shipping, and runs true to size!
Amazon Kitchen Faucet Splash Guard
After having a number of notepads and papers ruined because of water running across our countertop in the kitchen, we picked up one of these kitchen faucet splash guards and I will never not have one for our home moving forward. It comes in a few different color options.
Amazon Set of 12 Black Ink Pens
I received a couple of these pens for a birthday gift and have been obsessed with them. I reached out to my friend, Jessica, who introduced me to these pens so I could order more to keep on hand. They are the smoothest ink pens and they are so lightweight. I have one in every bag I own and in every room around the house.
Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes
While I typically do not use face wipes because I find they dry my skin out, I have been keeping a packet of these face wipes in my bag during the summer months. Our house is 20-30 minutes from most of the places we frequent, so this is helping me feel fresh in the 100+ degree temperatures we experience here during the summer months. I also keep some on hand in my workout bag in case I pop in somewhere after a workout. This particular brand has not dried my skin out and smells great without being overpowering.
Wölffer Estates Summer in a Bottle Rosé
I tried this wine years ago in Charleston and it has long been a favorite of mine, but was hard to find locally. This summer, I was able to source this at North Hills Total Wine and I have been thrilled about it. It runs under $25 a bottle and is the lightest, most refreshing rosé. It is not sweet or overpowering and I truly cannot recommend it enough. Obviously, I love drinking it out of my Estelle Colored Glass wine glasses.
